HABBA HABBA
Habba Habba is the newest food concept from Cater King Food Corporation
which has been in the food service business for over twenty four years now, having been
established in May 1984. Its vision is to be the leading Filipino food restaurant chain offering innovative, quality food products and services for both the local and international markets. To this end, it has established and operated Goto King, a fast food chain specializing in Filipino meals and merienda fare. Located in most SM Food Courts and Supermarkets, Goto King is also found in other malls not only in Metro Manila but also in Pampanga, Cavite, Batangas and Cebu operating as independent stores, food court outlets, kiosks and carts. To date, there are about thirty (30) Goto King outlets, thirteen of which are franchises.
Habba Habba, is part of Cater King’s expansion program in line with its vision/mission.
It is a Food Cart. Kiosk operations that targets transients and/or people on the go such as commuters, mallers, shoppers, students and office goers who want a quick, convenient-to-eat snack. As such, its ideal locations would be in areas with heavy foot traffic such as Mall hallways and walkways, bus terminals, MRT and LRT Stations, inside food courts and canteens as well as besides schools and call centers.
The menu consists of noodles with two types to choose from:
1. Classic which uses boiled noodles and has two variants:
1. Regular – with vegetables and “habhab” sauce (oyster sauce
based) and sold at P20.00
2. Special – with vegetables and “habhab” sauce and choice of
toppings:
a. Bola bola (siomai, squidballs and meatballs)
b. Squiballs and mushrooms
Both are priced at P29.00 each
2. Supreme which uses fried noodles and also has two variants:
1. Lukban- with vegetables and habhab sauce topped with
crumbled Longganisang Lukban
2. Bola Bola – with vegetables and habhab sauce topped with
siomai, meatballs, squidballs and mushrooms,
Both are priced at P39.00 each.
The noodles used is “habhab” noodles, a specialty from Lukban, Quezon and will be served in waxed paper bowls and “sforks” as eating utensils. For condiments, there will be two choices: Sweet chili sauce and “Toyomansi.”
Gulaman juice is the drink compliment and sold at P5.00 for an 8 oz serving.
